Japan finished the first pool phase of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022 with a straight-set victory over Argentina at the GelreDome Arena in Arnhem on Sunday to climb to the second place in the final Pool D standings. In a match that will also count towards the second phase Pool E standings, the Asian team claimed a 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-17) win, enough to beat Brazil to the runners-up position on set ratio.
