Considering that some of their rivals will have tough opponents this weekend – Pałac play Budowlani on Friday, at 20:30 (19:30 GMT) while Mielec face DevelopRes on Sunday at 19:00 (18:00 GMT) -, it’s likely that the winners of Monday’s match return to the qualification zone.
Chemik won the team’s duel in the first round of the regular season 3-1 in November and have massive superiority over their opponents, having claimed 27 victories in 30 duels. The last #VolleyWrocław victory happened in 2016-2017.
Also involved in the race to qualify for the playoffs, UNI Opole will have a critical match on Thursday, at 17:30 (16:30 GMT). They will play on the road against 11th-placed Sokół & Hagric Mogilno, who are fighting against relegation with 15 points, but also have their eyes set on the playoffs and could make significant progress if they take all three points at home.
Their rivals in the battle to avoid relegation, 12th-placed Energa MKS Kalisz will play on the road against Bielsko-Biała at 19:00 (18:00 GMT). With 11 points, they can still find a way into the postseason, but more urgently need to get enough points to continue in the Polish elite.
The sixth match of the week, reuniting Commercecon and Radomka, on Saturday, at 12:30 (11:300 GMT), will be a rematch of the Polish Cup semifinals last week, when the team from Łódź won 3-0.
