Two other matches involving the top teams in the league took place over the weekend, with leaders KS DevelopRes Rzeszów sweeping 12th-placed Energa MKS Kalisz 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-11) on Saturday and third-placed PGE Grot Budowlani Łódź overcoming fourth-placed Bielsko-Biała 3-1 (25-21, 26-24, 19-25, 25-17) on Sunday.
No matches will be held next weekend as the dates are reserved for the Polish Cup Final Four, but two duels will take place during the week, featuring postponed matches - Bielsko-Biała and Mielec will meet on Wednesday, at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT), and Pałac and Chemik will duel on Thursday, at 18:00 local time (17:00 GMT).
