Astemo Rivale Ibaraki stand seventh, right above the midpoint in the table, on a 13-9 win-loss ratio and 37 points. In each of their previous three double headers, they always won the first match and lost the second. Saitama Ageo Medics, on the other hand, followed a pattern of losing one and winning one of their games, not always in that order, for their previous five double headers in a row, which has led them to 15-7 and 46 in third place.
Over a period of 10 years, the two clubs have met 25 times. Ageo are on a three-game victory streak in the head-to-head and lead the series by 15-10 in wins. Both matches at the Hitachinaka City Sports Park Total Gymnastics this weekend will start at 13:05 local time (04:05 UTC).
