In what has been selected Games of the Week, table leaders Osaka Bluteon will visit Toray Arrows Shizuoka at the Koryo Arena at 14:05 local time (05:05 UTC) on both competition days. Osaka have a 19-3 win-loss ratio and 57 points, while Toray Arrow are eighth in the current standings on 6-16 and 18.
Wolfdogs Nagoya will host Nagano Tridents at the Entrio on Saturday at 17:05 (08:05) and on Sunday at 16:05 (07:05). Nagoya stand second on 18-6 and 54, while Nagano are second from the bottom, in ninth place on 5-17 and 13. It will be the third double header between these two teams this season. Wolfdogs won all four previous matches in straight sets.

Defending champions Suntory Sunbirds Osaka will play on the road at Voreas Hokkaido. They will open the SV.League weekend at 13:35 (04:35) on Saturday. The second match at the Hakodate Arena will start at the same time on Sunday. Suntory are running third in the table on 16-6 and 49, while Voreas trail bottom, in 10th place on 2-20 and 10. When the two clubs met in October, Sunbirds took the full six points.
Fourth-placed JTEKT Stings Aichi are also travelling this weekend. Standing on 16-8 and 42, they will play against sixth-placed Hiroshima Thunders, on 10-14 and 29. The Higashi-Hiroshima Athletic Park Gymnasium will stage the two games on Saturday at 14:05 (05:05) and on Sunday at 13:05 (04:05). Aichi and Hiroshima have already played four times this season. JTEKT won the first three encounters, but in the most recent one, Thunders celebrated a five-set victory.
In a clash between the fifth and the seventh in the standings, Tokyo Great Bears will entertain Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers at the Ariake Coliseum. The squad from the capital is on a positive balance of 15-9 and 46, while the visitors are on 7-15 and 24. Saturday’s game will serve off at 15:05 (06:05). The match on Sunday will get underway an hour earlier, at 14:05 (05:05). November’s double header between the two sides resulted in 3-1 and 3-0 victories for Great Bears.
