The second leg of the best-of-three PlusLiga semifinals in Poland is set to take place on Wednesday, April 23. The first leg delivered very interesting results, so the excitement in the second is guaranteed. If the winners of the first matches, PGE Projekt Warsaw and BOGDANKA LUK Lublin, win their second matches, they will already advance to the championship title playoff. If their opponents, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and Jastrzebski Wegiel Jastrzebie-Zdroj, win on Wednesday, however, they will push their semifinal series to a third-leg decider on Saturday. Meanwhile, the fifth place in the final PlusLiga standings will be decided on Thursday between ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle and Asseco Resovia Rzeszow.

“We have to make sure that we keep our morale high and remember that we beat this team the previous week (in the Poland Cup semifinals). Now we have an important match at home. It's do or die for us. The beauty of this series is that every game is different and they have to beat us twice. In the next match we will play at home and we will have a great crowd on our side. We just have to give it our all and get through this together as a team. We're not even thinking about that third game right now because we have to get there first by winning on Wednesday.” Aaron Russell, outside hitter of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie
“The playoffs should not be about the finished match, but about the next one. We want to return to Jastrzebie for a third game.” Benjamin Toniutti, setter and captain of Jastrzebski Wegiel Jastrzebie-Zdroj
