Stay tuned for the second edition of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, which will feature the superstars of the sport on the premier international beach volleyball tour.

The season will begin soon after The Finals of the current edition, which will take place in Doha, Qatar from January 26 to 29.

The Beach Pro Tour is a unique sports and entertainment event where the fun is not only on the court but all around with live music and a festival like atmosphere to keep you entertained day and night.

Split across three different levels, the Elite16 tournaments feature the very best beach athletes. Challenge level tournaments feed into the Elite16 tournaments. Finally, the Futures level tournaments allow cities to build up the capabilities of promising up-and-coming stars.

Elite16

Expect 16 teams per gender in the main draw. Pool play will feature four pools of four teams each and be followed by Round of 12 matches, quarterfinals, semifinals and matches for gold, silver and bronze. Five days of competition (including qualification) will feature a total of 36 Main Draw matches per gender.

Challenge

The Main Draw of the Challenge events will be played by 24 teams per gender (with 32 teams in qualification). Modified Pool play will be followed by single elimination rounds. Four days of competition will feature a total of 42 Main Draw matches per gender.

Futures

Sixteen teams per gender will compete in the Main Draw at these events (and qualification include 16 teams). Modified pool play will be followed by single elimination rounds. A total of four days of competition will feature 28 Main Draw matches per gender.

The Finals

The Finals are the ultimate finale to the Beach Pro Tour season featuring the best 10 teams per gender in the world.
