Volleyball World announced some updates to the Beach Pro Tour 2025 calendar. Most importantly, new Challenge events in Türkiye and Brazil have been added to the Tour.

One of them will take place in the Mediterranean resort city of Alanya in southern Türkiye from June 12 to 15. While this will be the first Beach Pro Tour stop in Alanya, this venue is well known to the beach volleyball community as it has organized a number of tournaments on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour and Europe’s continental circuit, as well as the FIVB U19 and U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2009 and 2010, respectively.

The other one will be held from July 24 to 27 in Brazil, but the exact venue is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, another event in Brazil, that in Saquarema, has been changed in terms of both category and timing. It has been upgraded to Elite16 and, hence, it will start a day earlier than initially planned, running from April 9 to 13.

The Beach Pro Tour programme for June will feature one more Challenge stop. The event in Stare Jablonki in Poland that was initially supposed to take place in August has been moved forward and will be held from June 26 to 29. The Doha Elite16 in Qatar has also been moved forward by about a week and it is now set to be held from October 28 to November 1.

One of the Challenge events in Mexico that was initially supposed to take place in Veracruz in April has been moved in both place and time. It will now run from October 2 to 5 in a city yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, the specific venues for the other two Beach Pro Tour stops in Mexico have been determined.

The first Challenge event of the year, the Yucatan Challenge from March 20 to 23, will be held in Puerto Progreso, the Gulf port of entry to the state of Yucatan, an iconic water sports venue.

Playa del Carmen, a resort city known for its white sand beaches and turquoise Caribbean Sea waters, will welcome the first Elite16 event of the season to be played in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo from March 26 to 30.
